Prayers have been said for his wife Bewaji, who turns sixty years old today, by Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable.

By posting pictures of his African Queen on his Instagram profile, he assured her that nothing would go bad for them. He hoped that anyone who was holding out for her to be humiliated would see her rise to fame and joy.

“He’s Not Going To Spoil For Me Or You Anyone who’s waiting to embarrass you will see your success and joy @omobewaji_ewatomi_oluwaferanmi.”

His wife, on her part, had wished him luck for yet another year of development, education, and life-changing experiences. She said a prayer for herself and hoped that this year would be the finest birthday ever.

Only a day prior, Portable had criticized Queen Dami, the late Alaafin of Oyo’s divorced wife and mistress, for refusing to conceive his child.

He vented to her in the comment section, pointing out how he loved her and looked out for her in times when no one else was, but she let him down by not wanting to have his child.

Bewaji responded to a troll a few weeks prior who berated her for remaining loyal to him and jokingly celebrated his birthday in spite of his alleged physical abuse of her.

Bewaji challenged the troll to respond using her actual account, explaining that she remained with the singer because she didn’t want to have children with other men and for their future.

Bewaji responded to the allegations, refuting the gossip and accusing others of attempting to destroy her husband’s reputation. In addition, Portable blocked the report and charged his babymama, Ashabi, with fabricating information regarding his union.
