Singer Gyakie once said, “I can’t date a musician.”

Popular Ghanaian singer Gyakie, also known as Jackline Acheampong, has declared that she is unable to date any of her coworkers.

She said it could be hard to have a romantic relationship with someone in your job.

In a recent interview with 3FM in Accra, she made this claim.
“Love is a lovely thing.” While I wouldn’t say it’s incorrect, I wouldn’t advise myself to date someone in my industry at this moment,” she remarked.

It is not well known that Gyakie is involved in a love relationship.

She was reportedly linked to Nigerian musician Omah Lay in 2021, however it later emerged that the rumors were publicity gimmicks for their “Forever” remix collaboration.
