“No more use of soft drinks, paracetamol, energy drinks, others” – After taking a new job, Jide Kosoko reads the riot act and takes a stand against drug usage.

Following his recent appointment, Nollywood star Prince Jide Kosoko released a statement denouncing drug misuse.

He proclaimed himself the New Chairman of NDLEA and read the riot act to the public while posting a picture of himself on his Instagram page while wearing an NDLEA costume.

He declared that the usage of Karaole, Alabukun, phensic, paracetamol, coffee, painkillers, soft drinks, energy drinks, manpower, bitters, and many more substances would be prohibited. He declared that he just supports and encourages the use of water.

“Enough… Enough of this general sickness of continuos abuse of drugs. As I resume today as the new chairman of NDEAL, The following are hereby banned . No more use of Karaole, Alabukun, phensic, paracetamol, cafenol..infact all painstaking drugs, all soft drinks, energy drinks, man power or bitters, no more diabetic or high blood pressure drugs. The only drug hereby recommended and approved by me is WATER. BUT IF U LIKE YOURSELF CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR. I MAY ALLOW ONLY YOU FROM USING WHATEVER YOU WANT. CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR IF HE IS NOT ON HARD DRUG. I JUST SAY I SHOULD WARN O MUTE. @tundeolaoyedirect”.

The Nigerian singer Naira Marley urged his millions of fans not to take drugs last year.

The musician met with NDLEA Chairman Buba Marwa at the organization’s offices, where he expressed his support for the fight against substance addiction and implored his followers to assist the organization in halting drug usage in the nation.

Actress Toyin Abraham had a strong appeal among drug-addicted Nigerians. She made a comment about how drugs would ruin a person’s life while pledging to assist them.

Alex Unusual, a former BBNaija housemate, questioned the logic of persistent drug use. She disclosed that dating married guys, smoking, and doing drugs are the three things she could never do in spite of peer pressure.
