“Very mature move my guy ” –Deyemi Okanlawon is praised by Kunle Remi for forgoing his annual birthday custom.
As he celebrates his birthday today, Nollywood actor Kunle Remi has praised his colleague Deyemi Okanlawon for forgoing his annual custom.
Deyemi disclosed on his Instagram page that this birthday was different from the others in that he didn’t participate in any photo sessions. He declared that all he asks of his admirers and followers is for them to share and tag him in his post about prayers on their stories.
He thanked them ahead of time and offered a prayer for his loved ones.
“I pray for Deyemi Okanlawon and his family, Heavenly Father. Lord, guide them down the straight way, bless their endeavors, and give them courage when they are weak. Give them happiness, love, and serenity in their life.
This year’s photo shoot is off. Please post this on your story, and feel free to tag me if you’d like. That’s all I ask. Thank you. May all of our aspirations come true and may we fulfill our purpose.
Kunle Remi took aim at him in the comments area, pointing out that Deyemi would always surprise them by releasing the pictures before they expected them.
But even as he chastised him for doing things his own way, he commended him for growing up.
Greetings on your birthday, sir, from God’s ears to your mouth.
Na to publish the pictures before we’re ready. Do what you please, Baba; we understand your ways. Enjoy yourself. This year, we even prayed against taking pictures. Thank God for this extremely wise move.
A few weeks prior, Deyemi Okanlawon had thanked his buddies Adesua Etomi and Kunle Remi for keeping him completely stunned when he woke up to a massive alert from them. Deyemi shared a screenshot of the credit alert and mentioned that Banky W’s wife was on the verge of making him cry with her kind gesture.
He declared that he would rather to concentrate on the fact that he has the world’s greatest friends and coworkers.
Deyemi recently honored veteran Kunle Bantefa by narrating how he entered the film industry at the age of eight or nine.
He disclosed that his first experience on set was for a family commercial, in which his brother, Detola Okanlawon, played his brother, and veteran actress Sola Sobowale, played his mother. Despite this, he ended up embarrassing himself by crying since he was unable to understand his lines.
