After 20 years apart, Nollywood actress Bukunmi Oluwasina reunited with a buddy from secondary school and is now in a tearful state.

She finally discovered her friend Gift after 20 years, she said in a long post on her Instagram page. She revealed that when she transferred schools, she had vowed to stay in touch with her friend at all times.

Her buddy adhered to her half of the bargain, sending her letters and candy every week for several months. Sadly, they lost communication once she transferred schools, so she was unable to uphold her end of the bargain.

But when they got back together after 20 years, Bukunmi Oluwasina was devastated. The reunion, according to her, feels like a birthday present.

Twenty years ago, I promised my buddy that she would write me a letter every week when she was about to change schools. And I committed to staying in touch forever.

She fulfilled her promise for several months, even including some candy in her correspondence while informing me about her new school and other details. We lost communication once I transferred schools and left the school where she writes letters.

But who was gathering those letters and eventually licking those candies on my behalf?

It seems like yet another birthday present.

When Bukunmi startled some of her admirers last year by revealing her final desire, some of them became frightened.

The actress declared that if she were to pass away in the future, she would like her final words to be, “I left millions of dollars somewhere.”

In other news, Bukunmi, along with senior colleagues Richard Mofe Damijo, Kunle Remi, and Kunle Afolayan, made the list of the 100 most influential persons in Africa.

The single mother told her thrilled fans and coworkers on her Instagram page, receiving heartfelt congratulations for her accomplishment.
